Hello Everyone,
The Merced County Career and Technical Education (CTE) Training and Hiring Event is set for Thursday, April 27, and will help connect job seekers with local employers from across the county. Admission is free and open to all training participants from Merced County CTE programs and anyone in the community interested in starting a new career. Attendees are encouraged to come prepared for interviews with employers.
Last year's event brought more than 45 employers from across the county. The event will host over 60 employers from various industries, including administrative offices, early childhood education, auto repair, construction, medical assisting, welding, and food services.
The Merced County CTE Training and Hiring Event is a collaboration and partnership between Central Valley Opportunity Center, Gateway Adult Education Network, Merced Adult School, Merced College, Merced County Office of Education's Regional Occupation Program, and Merced Union High School District. Additional partners and resources in attendance include Worknet, the Department of Rehabilitation, and the Empower program.
